The College Savings Mississippi Division of State Treasurer Tate Reeve's office announces the ongoing enrollment period for the IMPACT (MS Prepaid College Tuition), which locks in today's tuition cost for tomorrow's education and is guaranteed by the state of Mississippi.
College Savings Mississippi is comprosed of two programs, MPACT and MACS (MS Affordable College Savings). MPACT is a prepaid plan that is guaranteed by the State to cover the cost of college tuition and mandtory fees at Mississippi public colleges. With as little as $31 dollars per month, families can lock in today's rate for rising tuition costs. MACS is the investment trust plan that gives families the opportunity to save for tuition as well as related expenses such as books, supplies, fees and certain room and board expenses. With this plan, there are three investment choices available.
