Highland Elementary PTO is about men and women working together towards a common goal. That goal is creating a better school and a better educational experience for our children. We strive to create an atmosphere where administrators and teachers can do their best work -- and so can our children!
Our PTO At Work...
* Build premiere Greek amphitheater style outdoor classroom.
* Hosted Level 5 Celebration for our teachers, staff and students.
* Big Brother/Big Sister Spring event.
* Host reception for visiting 2nd graders.
* Assist librarian with AR Wall of Fame.
* Assist Coach with NFL Punt, Pass & Kick, Breakfast of Champions and Fun Run.
* Assist music teacher with grade level productions.
* Keeps teachers and staff updated through emailed PTO Monday Minutes.
* Presented teachers and staff with Wal-Mart gift cards before Thanksgiving break.
* Hosted Veteran's Day reception.
* Hosts monthly Super Titan reception.
* Painted hallways, gym and Super Titan wall in the school.
* "Back to School" breakfast for our teachers and staff on their first day of school.
* The PTO hosted their annual "surprise" lunch for teachers and staff at Alumni House.
* Freshened the landscaped and reworked the flower beds and urns in front of the office.
