Welcome to Highland Elementary!
2008-2009 NEW SCHOOL HOURS:
7:30AM-2:15PM
Note school will start 10 mins earlier in the upcoming school year.
AUG 6th 4-6 PM: MEET THE TEACHER
This is an open house style event. Please bring your school supplies to leave in your new classroom. Spirit items will be for sale, including our new T-shirt.
Click on "Downloads" in Resources section to see 3rd-5th Grade Supply Lists.
Please bring $35 cash or check (payable to Highland Elementary School) for workbook/supply fee, for each student. Your teacher will collect this fee.
Party Fees, $5 per child, will also be collected by the teacher. Please make these checks payable to HES PTO. Cash is also accepted.
AUG 7th 7:30 AM: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL-Welcome!
Yearbooks are here. You may pick yours up in the office during office house, if you ordered one. Extras are available for $25.

Former Students:
*2 current utilities, dated June 2008 or later, (gas, water, electric, land phone) with your name and address on the bill (cell phone bills and P.O. Boxes are not accepted)
*homeowners - mortgage, deed or homestead exemption
*renters - lease which must include the following: your address, your name, your children's names, the date the lease expires (all occupants must be listed on the lease)
New Students:
* All of the above PLUS
* Birth Certificate
* Social Security Card
* Immunization Record
Does your child need a good math tutor? We have an answer for you! Mrs. P. Smith is a certified math instructor for students K-9. Please contact the school at 601-853-8103 for further information on receiving tutoring for your child.
